Teaching Our Children to Hate
When we hear stories in the news of children in other countries being taught how to hate, we speak of how evil the adults that carry out such tutelage must be.
Yet, we refuse to see what is right in our very own back yard.

Man, don't want to spread the hatin', but those kids look inbred and slightly dim-witted.
All in good humor, I'm sure.
We had to deal with these folks a few weeks ago. I am sad to report that they would appear to be one trick ponies.
It would also seem they think that Gays are the US's major problem. Most of the signs they carried addressed this issue. One other was about "Whore Mongers." However all of their quotes were from the Old Testament, mostly citing Sodom.
Unfortunately they seemed to bo sorely lacking in New Testament knowledge - you know, the radical idea of letting God judge, and loving your neighbor.
Fortunately, the Phelps "compound" is the family. As fas as I can tell from their site and from press releases it is just the family.
Unfortunately and sadly, they still manage to preach a "gospel" of hate and there are people out there willing to accept it. I think what should be remembered when we see this, is that Jesus taught us to love.
I believe that these folks are desperately in need of our prayers.
Well, all I can say is that its good to see people out there speaking the truth! especially the young ones!
